It’s been a crazy few days. Jessica and I hit the road Thursday night and made it as far as Macon, Georgia before we decided to stop for the night. We both appreciate the fact that Holiday Inn Express offers free breakfast, so we stayed at the top rated one by tripadvisor.com in Macon.
Friday, we took off early to get to Virginia in time for costume fittings Friday evening. Then, we checked into our hotel for a good nights sleep.
First thing Saturday, morning we were up and at it. At rehearsal we met the team of New Zealand dancers. They are all so sweet! We’re excited to perform two different dance numbers with them. One is a hornpipe and the other features a broadsword danced to “The Gael”.
Sunday was another long day with rehearsals starting at 9:00 and finishing at 10:00pm. At least the Easter Bunny was good to us and we had chocolate to get us through.
We’re excited to see our hard work paying off as the numbers are coming together. Stay tuned for more updates!
